Hi there, Friends! Hope your week is going smoothly! The Snow Jam 2014 has moved on out of the ATL…..or do we dare say that? My hubby was one of the unfortunate Atlantans to get stuck in all that traffic mess, but fortunately it only took him 8 hours to get home 30 miles!! It was extremely stressful for all involved! Craziest day/night ever! It’s still cold here, but at least we can deal with that..right? Hurry up, SPRING!!! Seriously. HURRY!!

Today, I want to share my experience testing the HomeRight Steam Machine. HomeRight has some great products that make tough jobs easier, and more pleasant. I was very interested in this particular product because we have lived in our home for 11 years, and it’s been showing alot lately! My previous post, my boys’ bathroom makeover, would not have been complete without the use of the Steam Machine. The shower walls and the floor are tile, and were both in need of some SERIOUS deep cleaning! ( warning! )

Introducing the HomeRight Steam Machine!!



 
The steamer has many different attachments to choose for your particular job. For this bathroom tile, I chose the small round brush. It’s really amazing that a pressurized, high temperature burst of steam can clean so well! I just moved the wand around with the small brush attachment while pressing the trigger and here’s proof it works:

I have to admit, it was almost addictive after cleaning one area. To see such great results without chemicals was a huge hit in my book!
 
 
It was a great feeling of accomplishment to not only finally have my boys’ bathroom made over, but to have it super clean, too??  ( An oxymoron if ever there was one?!)
 
I literally was walking around the house thinking, “Now, what else can I clean?!” ( Which I can swear to you almost NEVER happens these days!) So I proceeded to clean the downstairs powder room tile floor, then moved on to the oven.

I decided to use the small wire brush on the oven. Sorry, no picture. 🙁 Now before you go all judgey on my oven, let me tell you that it’s 11 years old, too. So not only was it dirty, but it’s starting to get rusty. ( hurry up and die, so I can get a new stainless :)!!! )
 
 
 
 
I’d say that was a significant improvement…no?! And again, with no harmful chemicals, only pressurized, high temperature blasts of steam. Let’s put it this way: I found so many things to clean with the HomeRight Steam Machine that I had blisters on my fingers from continuous use! But that’s only if you clean like a maniac because your home is 11 years old…..

I would highly recommend this product! It worked great on my tile walls, floors, and oven. It also is recommended for removing wallpaper, cleaning grills, car tires, etc. Why don’t you check it out? The HomeRight Steam Machine…. a great cleaning tool. OH, and did I mention it kills bacteria AND is chemical free? Most of us these days want as few chemicals around as possible, so go check it out for yourself! I know you’ll love it, too!

    • I have no idea, Anita, but you could try contacting HomeRight directly. Just Google them and go to “Contact.” You should definitely see steam coming out, but I would NOT recommend putting your hand up too close- HOT! 🙂 Hope that helps.
