Today, I’m sharing our home for the holidays. Welcome, friends! Welcome to a house that is far from perfect, but is well-loved and lived in. This is our family’s 13th year in this home…13 Christmases- wow, so many memories and seasons of life. Our oldest son started 1st grade when we moved to Atlanta from North Carolina, and now he’s a Freshman in college. Our 2 younger sons were almost 2 and 3 1/2 and they are both high schoolers. Crazy how time flies when you’re raising kids and dogs, right?!
This post has alot of photos, so I’ll keep it light on words so you can scroll through and look. ( This is the Christmas House Tour that almost wasn’t, so I’m glad to have pictures and not have to chat too much either. ha! ) Just have had a harder than usual time getting everything done this year. December needs to have an extra week, I think…don’t you? I plan on keeping my Christmas decor up an extra week… Maybe 2~ who’s counting? 😉
Not gonna lie, I didn’t put any Christmas stuff in the upstairs bedrooms this year. I usually add fresh greenery to our master bedroom, and the boys all have tabletop trees that I’ve always put in their rooms since they were little, but I just couldn’t do one more thing and get everything else done this year, so…. We’ll start the tour upstairs and work our way down. ( To see our Christmas porch click here , and a client’s house a friend and I decorated for Christmas, click here ) Hope you enjoy!
Upstairs Hall
I have wreaths on all windows with electric candles on the windowsills. This year I added French script ribbon, burlap bows, and a silver orb spray pick above the bow for a little sparkle.
Foyer
One of my favorite wedding gifts we received almost 22 years ago was this Fontanini nativity set. My parents have added to our collection over the years. Each piece is so beautifully crafted and I just love it.
